IAG conference
11th July 9.00am to 2.00pm
Middlesbrough
Teaching and Learning Centre
We are planning our annual conference for practitioners delivering IAG services. This event is also aimed at the wider IAG network of organisations involved in the delivery of learning and work opportunities. It will be very useful for people working with adults in the learning and work arena.
The aims of the conference are to:
· Enable delegates to learn more about developments in IAG
· Gain an insight into the regional skills priorities
· Promote continued networking and sharing of good practice
· To support the delivery of good quality IAG across the community
The format as usual will be presentations and keynote speeches, with regional and national perspectives on IAG, followed by a range of workshops. The event will conclude with an excellent buffet lunch. This will provide an ideal opportunity for networking.
We are offering a range of workshops and those which run will be dependant on demand. We will of course try to ensure delegates are matched to their choice of workshop, this is however not always possible. Delegates will be able to choose two workshops
Workshops we are offering include:
- Practitioner Support- What’s new from Advice Resources
- Progression Pathways-Journeys for Vocational Learners
- Diversity-Sharing a New Perspective
- Choosing Success-An Introduction to NLP
- Pathways to Work- A focus on Condition Management
- The Perfect CV – An employers Perspective
- The Open University-Flexible opportunities
- Personality Check- An introduction to Psychometric Assessment
- The Offenders Journey- Working With Offenders
- Matrix-The quality standards explained
