ABDN Annual Business Dinner
16 March 2007

ABDN is hosting its 9th Annual Business Dinner incorporating the Business Oscars awards and you are invited to take part in one of the biggest business events of the year. In front of a distinguished audience of more than 500, the dinner provides an ideal platform for companies to network and do business.

ABDN is a minority ethnic enterprise network set up to provide business support services across the region. We also work closely with businesses and government agencies to help facilitate their key objectives.

This year’s dinner will be supporting the Leeds Lord Mayors Charity and hopes to help boost funds for great causes.

One of the highlights of the evening will be a keynote speech from Hilary Benn MP Minister for International Development who will give an insight into politics and business in ever increasing competitive markets.  Christa Ackroyd of the BBC is the host on the evening.

ABDN Business Oscars 2006 are the north’s prestigious independent business awards and recognise the achievements of British businesses.  They demonstrate the highest standards across every field and celebrate success, leadership and exemplary business ethics.  Highlighting the success and the contribution of ethnic minorities to the success of the region and celebrating diversity will help dispel negative perceptions and improve harmony.
