What happens when you sign up to the Investors in Diversity at Level 1 and Level 2:-
Your starting point on the journey could be at Level 1 or Level 2.
Level 1 Investors in Diversity.
1. You send the completed acceptance slip to us - to speed matters up this could be sent as a scanned version by email and paper copy via post.
2. We send you a welcome e-mail, guidance notes on the on-line survey and the web-links which take them into the on-line survey (We can also do this using paper forms).
3. We agree a closing date for the surveys - usually up to 4 weeks.
4. Once the closing date has expired, we complete the analysis and prepare a report for the client.
5. The results are externally verified by a member of the National Quality Board.
6. A final decision is made.
7. If successful, you are awarded Level 1 accreditation (which you hold for 12 months) and receive an e-pack of Level 1 Investors in Diversity logos and branding guidelines.
8. We send you a certificate.
Level 2 Investors in Diversity
By committing to Level 2, you will work towards achieving Level 1 as a matter of course. In order to go to Level 3, you need to have achieved Level 2 first. Even if you go straight to Level 2, you must first complete the same online survey as is used for the Level 1 accreditation so it is possible that you can achieve Level 1. The final assessment is a combination of face to face interviews and online assessment.
Timescales are dependent on each organisation's commitment and dedication. However based on experience so far, the whole process can take between 6 to 12 months.
