Head of Organisational Development
Joanne started her career as a trainee technician and, over a ten‐year period, developed into a senior HR Manager. Joanne is a strategic thinker with proven analytical and organisational skills, industry related qualifications and experience. Alongside our Human Resource Director and our Group Director for Health, Safety and Environmental Protection, Joanne has created our central learning and development strategy, ‘Academy’.
Launched in 2011, Academy is our integrated lifelong learning framework to improve individual, team and project performance to strengthen our competitiveness. Developed in response to business needs and employee feedback, Academy provides a cohesive approach to people development. Employees take ownership of their career plans, whilst still ensuring that programmes are aligned with business plans, therefore adding value to the individual, company and stakeholders.
Recently promoted to Head of Organisational Development, Joanne leads the design and delivery of corporate change programmes, working across the company to deliver continuous improvement.
