Biography
Chetna Patel-Liburd joined QIA in April 06 at the start of this new organisation. The QIA, set up by the government will lead on the Quality Improvement Strategy for the Learning and Skills sector.
With 8 years experience Chetna has worked for a range of providers from FE to Voluntary sector. Always supporting in the capacity of quality improvement, she was one of the first to be awarded 1 for Leadership and Management by the Adult Inspectorates back in 2002.
She is passionate about maximising opportunities and minimising barriers for all, whether it is for a learner, staff member or someone within the community.
As an MBA graduate she is particularly keen in organisational culture, change and strategy.
Her appointment at QIA has included supporting the development of Equality and Diversity as well as supporting the Offender Learning and the Performance and Strategy team.
Chetna is also a Vice Chair for a local primary school in Leicester and has supported the development of many community initiatives.
